Training and Curriculum: The Veterinary Medicine program spans six years, encompassing various specialized sub-professions and courses. Students must complete 240 credit hours (403 ECTS) to earn a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine(DVM) degree.
Establishment and Growth: Established in the 2018/19 academic year with40students, the department now manages five batches of DVM students, with two batches having graduated in 2023 and 2024.
Management Structure: Initially managed at the school level, the department now operates at the department level through structural differentiation. It advocates for school-level management to better handle multidisciplinary areas and resource utilization.
The DVM program aspires to be a leading department in the region by 2032 E.C., contributing to food security and sustainable development through improved animal health.
